FAMILY IS FORVER

I had recorded a full album last year as part of a journaling exercise in psychotherapy called MUMBO JUMBO & it was very satisfying. That was the first time I had rapped or recorded in a very long time, I was happy with how the album turned out, but figured it was probably my last kick at the can. When I discovered I had exactly 13 unused/unreleased tracks from the HOBO vaults I knew I had to record a new record! We always put 13 tracks on the HOBO albums + a 14th secret track (usually a funny voice message from Harry). I wanted to practice & try to get my chops up because I had been sitting on all of the stems & Harry's vocals from an unreleased 3rd round of SIBLING RIVALRY! I could still barely listen to Harry's voice, so it was my hope that going through all of the old material + writing & recording a whole new album would prepare me to tackle such an emotional project. It's not every day you get to put out a brand new album with your long deceased Brother! I jumped into it not knowing that it would be just like riding a bike & I actually had an amazing time through the entire process. I love how the album turned out, it was an honour to pay homage to the crew & I believe I made them proud.
